Job Description
The Office of the Mines Labour Welfare Commissioner, Punjab, is inviting applications from eligible male and female candidates domiciled in Punjab for School/College Teacher Interns (STIs) for 2026. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience within the Mines Labour Welfare Schools and Colleges. A total of 42 vacant positions are available across various institutions in Mianwali, Sargodha, Chakwal, and Khushab districts. Successful candidates will receive an attractive monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 45,000/- to Rs. 55,000/-. The hiring is under the MLWC STI Policy, 2026. Interested individuals possessing relevant Master’s, BS, Graduation, or Matriculation qualifications are encouraged to apply. Requirements & Qualifications
- Age Limit: 21 to 45 years (as on closing date)
- Gender Eligibility: Male & Female (Domiciled in Punjab)
- Qualifications:
- Subject Specialist (SS): M.A/M.Sc/BS (Hons.) in relevant subject from an HEC-recognized University
- Secondary School Teacher (SST): M.A/M.Sc/BS (Hons.) in relevant subject from an HEC-recognized University
- Physical Education Instructor: Master’s Degree/BS in Health & Physical Education from an HEC-recognized University
- Computer Instructor: M.A/M.Sc/BS (Hons.) in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized University
- Elementary School Teacher (EST): M.A/M.Sc/BS (Hons.)/B.A/B.Sc/BS from an HEC-recognized University
- Primary School Teacher (PST): Minimum B.A/B.Sc. from an HEC-recognized University
- Lady Instructor (Vocational Institute): Matriculation with diploma in sewing/embroidery and knitting work from a recognized institute with one year experience
- Application Process:
- Download the prescribed application form free of cost from the provided Google Drive link or obtain a free hard copy directly from the office of the Principal/Head of the relevant School/College during office hours (09:00 AM to 02:00 PM) on working days.
- Complete the application form in all respects.
- Attach attested copies of the following documents:
- CNIC
- Punjab Domicile
- Educational Certificates/Degrees & Transcripts
- Professional Qualification Certificates (if any)
- Experience Certificates (if any)
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Submit the complete application packet BY HAND to the Principal/Head of the relevant School/College where the STI vacancy exists within the prescribed office hours on or before the school’s respective closing date.
