Requirements & Qualifications

• Obtain Application Form: From the Administration Section/Admin Block of the University or download from www.qau.edu.pk.
• Application Processing Fee:
• Rs. 2,000/- for Serial No. 01 to 02 (Director Civil Works, Accountant/Accounts Officer).
• Rs. 1,000/- for Serial No. 03 to 06 (Computer Operator, Quantity Surveyor, Sub Engineer, Assistant).
• Rs. 500/- for Serial No. 07 (Attendant/Office Attendant).
• Payment Method: Non-refundable Pay Order/Bank Draft (from any bank) or Bank Challan from HBL Quaid-i-Azam University Branch, drawn in favor of the Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
• Required Documents: Attach 2 attested photographs, copies of experience certificates, educational testimonials, domicile, and CNIC.
• Submission: Send the completed application package to the Office of the Additional Registrar, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
• Deadline: Reach the designated office on or before 15 days from the date of publication of the advertisement, during office hours.
• Previous Applicants: Those who applied previously for these positions and meet qualifications are not required to reapply; their earlier applications will be considered.
• Incomplete/Late Applications: Will not be processed or entertained.
• Government/Semi-Government Servants: Must apply through proper channel with a service certificate and NOC from their current employer. Advance copies may be entertained if clearly mentioned.
• Specific eligibility criteria for each position:
• 1. Director Civil Works (PPS-9)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 55 years
• Qualification & Experience:
• BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Engineer, with 5 years as an Executive Engineer or equivalent.
• Note: Persons with specific experience in building construction only need apply.
• 2. Accountant / Accounts Officer (PPS-7)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 45 years
• Qualification & Experience:
• M.Com / MBA (Finance and Accounting) with 2 years’ experience OR B.Com/BBA (Finance and Accounting) with 10 years’ experience of Audit and Accounts.
• Experience must be in a responsible position within a Government or Education department.
• 3. Computer Operator (PPS-6)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 28 years
• Qualification & Experience:
• 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s / Bachelor’s (4 years duration) degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized University.
• 4. Quantity Surveyor (PPS-6)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 32 years
• Qualification & Experience:
• At least Second-Class B-Tech (Hon’s four (04) years) Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
• 5. Sub Engineer (PPS-5)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Qualification & Experience:
• Diploma from a School of Engineering / Polytechnic with two years’ experience of an Overseer’s job.
• 6. Assistant (PPS-5)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Qualification & Experience:
• Graduate with 2 years’ experience as a UDC OR Intermediate with three (3) years’ experience OR Matriculate with at least five (5) years’ experience as a UDC in a university, Government, or semi-Government organization.
• 7. Attendant / Office Attendant (PPS-1)
• Number of Posts: 02
• Age Limit: 30 years
• Qualification & Experience: Literate.
