Job Description

The Sindh Safe Cities Authority (SSCA) has announced a new recruitment campaign for highly qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals to join its team on a purely contractual basis.   • Vacant Positions & Detailed Eligibility Criteria:
  • 1. Chief Technical Officer (CTO):
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (Preferably Master’s degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Big Data, or an equivalent discipline from an HEC recognized university.
  • Experience: * Minimum ten (10) years post-qualification experience in Information Technology, ICT, Telecommunications, Software Development, Cybersecurity, Data Transformation, or related fields.
  • At least three (03) years’ experience in a senior management position such as CTO, CIO, Director IT, Head of IT, Head of Technology, Head of Networks, Program Director, or equivalent role.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, implementation, and management of large-scale technology projects and enterprise ICT infrastructure.
  • Experience in managing technical teams, vendors, consultants, and technology projects.
  • Experience with data centers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity operations, AI/ML, enterprise systems.
  • Experience with command-and-control centers, smart city initiatives, public safety technologies, or government digital transformation projects shall be preferred.
  • Relevant certifications and knowledge of ISO standards will be preferred.

  • 2. Media & Communications Officer:
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification: Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline from an HEC recognized Institute.
  • Experience: * Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in media management, public relations, or strategic communications, preferably in government or public sector organizations.
  • Proven experience in handling electronic, print, and digital media, including crisis communication.
  • Experience in large public-sector projects or authorities will be an added advantage.

  • 3. Digital Media Specialist:

  • Qualification: Bachelor in Digital Media, Mass Communication, Marketing, IT, or a related discipline from an HEC recognized Institute.
