Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Software Developer: Software Coding / Programming, developing Web-based applications / Android Applications.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Applications must be submitted using the prescribed job application form available on the OPF website (www.opf.org.pk).
• For posts at Serial # 1 to 5 (Assistant Director, Software Developer, Computer / Network Support Officer, Welfare Officer, Office Assistant), a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 500/- must be deposited.
• The fee should be deposited in Askari Bank, Account Title: OPF Head Office Payment Account, Account No. 00581480800036.
• The filled-up application form, along with an attested copy of educational documents, experience certificates, domicile certificate, copy of CNIC, and copy of the deposit slip (for Serial # 1 to 5), must be sent via post or courier to the OPF Head Office in Islamabad.
• For the post at Serial # 6 (Security Supervisor), no application fee is required; candidates should send the filled-up application form with attested copies of educational documents, experience certificates, domicile certificate, and copy of CNIC.
• Applications must reach the designated address within 15 days of the advertisement's publication (by June 28, 2026).
• Age will be calculated from the closing date of submission.
• Eligibility is determined by academic qualifications and experience as per the post requirements.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
• Information provided in the application form will be verified upon offer of appointment.
• Providing fake or bogus information will lead to cancellation of candidature and legal action.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
• Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for tests/interviews.
• The competent authority reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.
• Assistant Director (OPF Grade-07): A second-class Master’s degree in Arts, Commerce, Business Administration, or Public Administration. Three years relevant experience in administration and personnel management, preferably in a public limited company. Maximum Age Limit: 35 years.
• Software Developer (OPF Grade-07): Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent (4 years degree) / Master's in Computer Science or equivalent. Three years’ enterprise-level experience in developing Web-based applications / Android Applications in an organization or firm of repute. Required Expertise: Software Coding / Programming, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Latest framework MVC, Bootstrap, PHP Latest framework, Android, Web Server, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax. Databases: MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. Maximum Age Limit: 35 years.
• Computer / Network Support Officer (OPF Grade-06): Bachelor’s (Hons) degree in Computer Sciences / Telecom / Electrical or equivalent from an HEC recognized University. Two years’ relevant experience in Hardware / Network Support / Troubleshooting. Maximum Age Limit: 33 years.
• Welfare Officer (OPF Grade-06): A second-class Bachelor’s degree in a social science. Four years’ relevant experience in welfare field and public dealings (Two years if candidate holds a second-class Master’s degree in a Social Science). Some experience in planning and executing community development projects desirable. Maximum Age Limit: 33 years.
• Office Assistant (OPF Grade-05): A second-class Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Education / Administration, Social Sciences, or Public Administration. Typing Speed of 30 words per minute with basic knowledge of operating the computer. Two years’ relevant experience. Selected candidates must undertake a six-week basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) by NITB before probation completion. Maximum Age Limit: 30 years.
• Security Supervisor: Matric, medically fit and strong. Maximum Age Limit: 50 years.
