Job Description

The Directorate General of Culture, Government of Balochistan, has announced various contract-based positions, offering an excellent career pathway in cultural management for June 2026. This recruitment drive aims to attract qualified local and domiciled individuals from Balochistan to fill diverse technical and support vacancies. Positions include Graphic Designer, Music Teacher, Video Cameraman, Film Editor, Carpenter, Chowkidar, Cook, Farrash, Mali / Gardener, and Sweeper. These roles are based at the Balochistan Arts Council on Spinny Road, Quetta. It provides a significant opportunity for both skilled professionals and general staff to contribute to the provincial cultural management infrastructure. Requirements & Qualifications

  • Eligible and interested candidates must draft a clean application along with their complete academic dossier.
  • Ensure attested/certified copies of the following documents are attached:
  • Educational Certificates / Degrees / Diplomas
  • Local / Domicile Certificate of Balochistan Province
  • Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
  • Two (02) recent passport-sized photographs
  • All complete applications must be submitted within official working hours either by hand or sent via postal mail/courier services to:

  • Noori Naseer Khan Cultural Complex, Spinny Road, Quetta.
  • The final date for receiving applications is July 20, 2026.
  • Applicants must be between 18 and 28 years of age (upper age relaxation admissible as per government rules).
  • Candidates already serving in public or semi-government sectors must apply through the proper channel by submitting an official NOC from their parent department.
  • Every applicant must make sure their attached educational documents and certificates are fully attested. Unattested documents or incomplete application forms will be rejected.
  • Only candidates meeting the complete eligibility criteria will be called for the test and interview.
  • Shortlisted candidates must bring original academic degrees, diplomas, experience credentials, CNIC, and local domicile on the day of the test or interview.
  • No traveling allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be paid.
  • Specific qualifications vary by position:
  • Graphic Designer: Higher Secondary School Certificate / Intermediate with a professional Diploma in Information Technology (IT).
  • Music Teacher: Higher Secondary School Certificate / Intermediate with a 1-year professional diploma and relevant music experience.
  • Video Cameraman: Higher Secondary School Certificate / Intermediate with a 1-year professional diploma/experience in video graphics and photography.
  • Film Editor: Higher Secondary School Certificate / Intermediate with a 1-year professional diploma/experience in specialized film editing.
  • Carpenter: Literate with practical carpentry experience (preference for experienced).
  • Chowkidar: Literate (preference for experienced individuals).
  • Cook: Literate with culinary experience (preference for experienced candidates).
  • Farrash: Literate (preference for experienced candidates).
  • Mali / Gardener: Literate (preference for experienced individuals).
  • Sweeper: Literate (preference for experienced candidates).
