Job Description
The Directorate General of Mines & Minerals, Government of the Punjab, has announced new contract-based project job vacancies under the development scheme titled “CHIEF MINISTER PUNJAB VALUE ADDITION FINANCING FOR PINK SALT.” This initiative offers an incredible opportunity for residents of Punjab seeking a career in public service to contribute to a key state project. The jobs are located in Lahore, Punjab, and are purely on a contract basis. The department is inviting candidates with background degrees in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Engineering from recognized universities. Vacancies include a Business Development Officer (PPS:7) and Application Scrutiny Officer / IT Support Officers (PPS:5). The application deadline is August 10, 2026, during office hours.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Interested candidates must prepare their application along with attested photocopies of CNIC, Domicile, Academic Certificates, and Experience Certificates.
- Submit the complete set of documents directly to the Project Director’s office address on or before 10.08.2026 during office hours.
- Candidates from only Punjab Province will be eligible to apply.
- In-service candidates may apply through proper channel after taking NOC from their department.
- The name of the post for which the candidate is applying must be mentioned clearly on both the application and the envelope.
- For multiple posts, candidates should submit applications for each post separately.
- Shortlisted candidates must bring their original documents at the time of the interview along with copies of submitted documents.

- 1. Business Development Officer (PPS:7)

- Age Limit: Up to 45 years
- Eligibility Criteria:
- 16-years education in Finance / Commerce / Economics / Public Administration / Industrial Engineering & Management or equivalent degree from HEC recognized university / Institution.
- At least 02 years post-qualification experience related to business development and support services in reputable public/private institution(s) / Government / Semi Government Organizations.
- 2. Application Scrutiny Officer / IT Support Officer (PPS:5)
- Pay Scale: PPS-05
- Number of Posts: 02
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years
- Eligibility Criteria:
- 14 years education with Business Administration / Economics / Statistics / Math / Computer Science or equivalent degree from HEC recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience of working in any public / private sector.
- Age Relaxation Guidelines:
- For Males: General age relaxation of +5 years in the upper age limit at the date of advertisement as per Govt. of Punjab rules.
- For Females: General age relaxation of +8 years in the upper age limit at the date of advertisement as per Govt. of Punjab rules.
