Job Description

The Punjab Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), operating under the Mines & Minerals Department, Government of Punjab, has announced a large-scale recruitment drive for contingent (daily wage) staff. This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for experienced and skilled individuals to join various mining projects and operational sites across Punjab for technical, administrative, operational, and field positions. Positions are available in diverse categories, including Management & Professional, Administrative, Engineering & Technical, Mining Operations, Driving & Transport, and Support Staff. Candidates with relevant qualifications, technical expertise, and practical experience are encouraged to apply by the closing date of June 28, 2026. Daily wage rates range from approximately Rs. 1,628 to Rs. 5,265, depending on the role.

Requirements & Qualifications

Educational qualifications include Matric, Intermediate, DAE, B.Com, BBA, MBA, B.Sc Mining Engineering, M.Sc Geology, and relevant technical diplomas.
Experience is preferred in mining operations, quarry management, geological surveys, mechanical maintenance, electrical systems, civil engineering works, heavy machinery operations, drilling activities, and administrative/accounts management.
Driver positions require a valid driving license, experience in operating heavy vehicles or machinery, and knowledge of safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.
Candidates must bring original documents for the interview: CNIC, educational certificates, experience certificates, domicile certificate, and two recent passport-size photographs.
Appointments are purely contingent and daily-wage based, not guaranteeing permanent employment.
