Job Description
The Special Education Department, Government of the Punjab, is inviting applications for School Teaching Interns (STIs) in District Faisalabad. This recruitment drive for August 2026 offers a unique opportunity for dedicated male, female, and transgender educators to gain valuable teaching experience within specialized institutions across the district. These are purely temporary and non-transferable positions with a tenure of 9 months, excluding summer vacations, during the Financial Year 2026-27. We are seeking qualified individuals for two distinct roles: Junior Special Education Teacher (V.I) (BS-16) with one vacancy, offering a monthly honorarium of Rs. 40,000/-, and Senior Special Education Teacher (H.I) / SSET (H.I) (BS-17) with one vacancy, offering Rs. 45,000/- per month. Interested candidates holding a Master’s or BS degree in Special Education are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is August 29, 2026, by 01:00 PM. Interviews for eligible candidates are scheduled for August 31, 2026, at 09:30 AM at the Office of the Principal, Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School of Special Education for Hearing Impaired, Faisalabad. This is an excellent chance to contribute to special education in Faisalabad and gain professional experience.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Master’s or BS degree in Special Education is required.
- For Junior Special Education Teacher (V.I) (BS-16):
- M.A. or BS (First Division or Grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in the field of Physically Disabled or equivalent qualification from a HEC-recognized university.
- Age Limit: 21 – 28 Years (age relaxation admissible as per rules).
- For Senior Special Education Teacher (H.I) / SSET (H.I) (BS-17):
- M.A or M.Ed. or BS (First Division or Grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in the field of Deaf or equivalent qualification from a HEC-recognized university.
- Age Limit: 21 – 28 Years (age relaxation admissible as per rules).
- Eligible candidates include Men, Women, and Transgender persons.
- Submit complete applications with attested copies of updated CV, CNIC, Domicile, Academic Certificates/Degrees, Experience Certificates (if any), and two recent passport-size photographs.
- Applications must reach the concerned Institute by hand or through post on or before August 29, 2026, up to 01:00 PM.
- Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
