Job Description

Are you passionate about wildlife conservation and possess a creative flair for communication and media production? The Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department has announced job openings in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, for July 2026. This is an incredible career opportunity to join the government sector on a contract basis under the development project titled “Establishment of Wildlife Communication Hub and Experience Facilities in Punjab”. The department is seeking highly skilled professionals for multiple project-based vacancies, including Communication Lead, Wildlife Photographer/Videographer, Video Editor, Content Creator/Script Writer, and Graphic Designer/Animator. If you have the required educational background from an HEC-recognized university and relevant practical experience, this is your chance to contribute to impactful wildlife documentary, media management, and conservation initiatives across the province. The last date to apply is July 27, 2026. These positions are contract-based and extendable based on performance.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Application Format: Prepare your application on Plain Paper.
  • Documents Required: Attach attested photocopies of Academic record (degrees / certificates etc.), Experience certificates, Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs.
  • Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for more than one position must submit a separate application for each post. Otherwise, their application(s) shall be liable to rejection.

  • Contract Nature: The above positions are being offered on a Contract basis, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
  • Project-Based Job: The above-mentioned positions are project-based; however, they may involve travel to project sites.
  • Government Employees: Applicants working in Government / Semi-Government Departments should apply through the proper channel along with a requisite N.O.C. (No Objection Certificate) from the competent authority.
  • Domicile Restriction: The candidate must hold a valid Punjab domicile.

  • Recruitment Policy: The recruitment/appointment will be made in accordance with the relevant rules/policy till the Gestation Period of the Project.

  • Specific Requirements for each position:
  • 1. Communication Lead (PPS-09)
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Maximum Age Limit: 45 Years
  • Qualification: 16 years’ education in Information Technology, Digital Media, Communication Studies, Mass Communication, Humanities, or a relevant field from an HEC recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in communication, digital media, or related fields. Experience in conservation or environmental-related topics and individuals with previous advertising agency experience will be preferred.
  • 2. Wildlife Photographer / Videographer (PPS-08)
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Maximum Age Limit: 45 Years
  • Qualification: Intermediate (12 years qualification) from a recognized university / Board.
  • Experience: Practical experience emphasis. Candidates with substantial experience in wildlife photography and videography, particularly in conservation-related projects, will be preferred. Individuals with hands-on experience working on wildlife documentary projects at national and international levels, and those whose work has been published or featured on prominent national and international platforms, are highly desirable.
  • 3. Video Editor (PPS-08)
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
  • Qualification: 16 years’ education in Fine Arts, Film & TV, Media Studies, or a related field from an HEC recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in video editing, with preference for experience in wildlife-related media and individuals with previous advertising agency experience will be preferred.
  • 4. Content Creator / Script Writer (PPS-08)
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
  • Qualification: 16 years’ education in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field from an HEC recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in content creation, with experience in environmental or wildlife-focused content a plus. Individuals with previous advertising agency experience and animation skills will be preferred.
  • 5. Graphic Designer / Animator (PPS-07)
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
  • Qualification: 16 years’ education in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Film & TV, Computer Science, or a related field from an HEC recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design, with preference for those with experience in environmental or wildlife-related design. Also, individuals with previous advertising agency experience and animation skills will be preferred.
