National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), "The Nation's Bank," is seeking talented, energetic, and career-oriented banking professionals for the position of Relationship Manager – SME (OG-II). This role is available across multiple cities of Pakistan as part of NBP's Inclusive Development initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates with banking experience to build a successful career in SME banking, focusing on relationship management, business development, and credit financing. The position is offered on a contract basis for three years, with potential for renewal. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year of banking experience and a graduation degree, with preference given to those with a Master's Degree or professional certifications. Candidates will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new SME clients, developing acquisition strategies, promoting financing products, and managing existing client relationships to ensure portfolio growth and retention. Key Responsibilities
Identifying and acquiring new SME clients to expand the Bank’s SME lending portfolio.,Developing and executing client acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals.,Promoting SME financing products including working capital, trade finance, and term loans.,Managing and enhancing existing client relationships to ensure portfolio retention and growth.,Reviewing clients’ financial health and business performance to identify risks and opportunities.,Conducting periodic client visits and providing updates regarding portfolio performance.,Analyzing financial statements and business models of SME clients to assess creditworthiness.,Structuring and recommending suitable financing solutions according to client requirements.,Preparing comprehensive credit proposals in compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.,Ensuring credit approvals remain within the Bank’s defined risk appetite.,Monitoring accounts for early warning signs and implementing proactive risk mitigation measures.,Maintaining compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.,Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service.,Achieving financial and non-financial targets including revenue generation and portfolio growth.,Supporting the Bank’s overall strategic objectives through achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).,Performing any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Minimum Graduation or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized institution. Master’s Degree in Business or related disciplines preferred.
