Job Description

The Government of Sindh has announced a recruitment drive for non-teaching and administrative vacancies under the Local Government & HTP Department. This opportunity invites eligible candidates holding a domicile and Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Sindh Province to apply for a total of 38 vacancies ranging from BPS-05 to BPS-14. Requirements & Qualifications

Upper age relaxation limit will be 5 years as provided in Notification of Services, General Administration and Coordination Department bearing No.SO(SGA&CD)564/2011(Part-11), dated 06.03.2025.
  • Government Service Applicants: Must get an NOC from their Department prior to submission of application and bring an original copy of the NOC at the time of interview.
  • Interview: Applicants would appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with original documents for interview as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.
  • No TA & DA will be admissible for interview.
  • Specific requirements per position:
  • Stenographer (BPS-14): Pay Scale: BPS-14, Total Vacancies: 19, Age Limit: 21 – 28 Years, Education: Graduate at least in 2nd Division from an H.E.C recognized University, Certificate in English Shorthand (120 wpm) and Typist (35 wpm) from SBTE / STEVTA or recognized Institute, Certificate in M.S Office from recognized Institute.
  • Draughtsman (BPS-13): Pay Scale: BPS-13, Total Vacancies: 01, Age Limit: 21 – 28 Years, Education: Graduate at least 2nd Division from any recognized university, Diploma: At least 2-Years diploma in Architectural Draughtsmanship from any recognized Institute, Experience: At least 3-Years’ practical Experience in the relevant job.
  • Computer Operator (BPS-12): Pay Scale: BPS-12, Total Vacancies: 03, Age Limit: 21 – 28 Years, Education: Graduate in 2nd Division from HEC recognized University with Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) / Computer Science from any Institute recognized by Sindh Board of Technical Education.
  • Data Entry Operator (BPS-12): Pay Scale: BPS-12, Total Vacancies: 03, Age Limit: 21 – 28 Years, Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology (IT), at least in 2nd Division from HEC recognized University.
  • Assistant Draughtsman (BPS-10): Pay Scale: BPS-10, Total Vacancies: 01, Age Limit: 18 – 28 Years, Education: Intermediate from any recognized Board with at least 18 months Diploma / Certificate in Architectural Draughtsmanship from any recognized Institute.
  • Cashier (BPS-07): Pay Scale: BPS-07, Total Vacancies: 01, Age Limit: 18 – 28 Years, Education: Intermediate (Commerce) / B.Com / BS (Finance) / BS (Finance & Accounts) from a recognized Board / University, Certificate in MS Office from recognized Institute, Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
  • Peshmam (BPS-05): Pay Scale: BPS-05, Total Vacancies: 01, Age Limit: 18 – 28 Years, Education: Sanad Shahdat-ul-Almia or equivalent from recognized University / Institute, Experience: At least seven (07) years’ experience of Practical Khateeb, Sanad Tajveed, Qiraat.
  • Land Inspector (BPS-05): Pay Scale: BPS-05, Total Vacancies: 03, Age Limit: 18 – 28 Years, Education: Matriculation from recognized Board; preference will be given to candidates with experience knowing typing.
  • Tracer / Finicer (BPS-05): Pay Scale: BPS-05, Total Vacancies: 05, Age Limit: 18 – 28 Years, Education: Matric from any recognized Board with at least 2 years’ experience in tracing work.
  • Typist (BPS-05): Pay Scale: BPS-05, Total Vacancies: 01, Age Limit: 18 – 28 Years, Education: Matriculation from a Recognized Board with Certificate in MS Office from recognized institute and having speed of 30 words per minute in English typing.
