Requirements & Qualifications

• Applicants are required to apply online exclusively via the official HEC job portal at https://careers.hec.gov.pk.
• No need to send hard copies of your C.V. and supporting documents to the HEC head office.
• An application processing fee of Rs. 1000/- must be deposited via 1Link services using any Mobile Banking App or Mobile Wallet via the instructions available on the portal link (https://careers.hec.gov.pk).
• All entries must be filled completely, and the online profile must be finalized before the closing deadline.
• The last date for submission of the online application is July 20, 2026.
• Incomplete applications or submissions received after this date will not be entertained.
• Experience means only the professional experience gained after obtaining the minimum required qualification.
• Experience gained as part-time, honorary, apprentice, and internee (as part of a study program) will not be considered or counted as valid experience.
• Five (05) years of general age relaxation is already included in the maximum age limit details. Further age relaxation will be provided as per standard federal government rules.
• Written and screening tests will be conducted at the nearest possible locations of the candidates, including Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar.
• All applications are processed purely on the basis of data provided by applicants through their online profile. Only shortlisted candidates will be formally called for an interview.
• Applicants who are already in Government Service must apply through the proper channel.
• Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in Pakistan depending on project needs.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in any test or interview.

• Vacant Positions & Eligibility Criteria:
• 1. Project Director (PPS-10)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Maximum Age: 62 Years
• Qualification & Experience: B.Sc. (Civil Engineering) or Master in Project Management (16 years of education) from an HEC recognized University/Institution. Minimum five (05) years of experience in public sector project management or implementation, with sound knowledge of project management and fundamentals. Preference will be given to candidates who successfully implemented and completed public or private sector projects of a similar nature.
• 2. Site Engineer (Civil) (PPS-7)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC recognized University/Institution, duly registered with PEC. Minimum five (05) years of post-qualification experience with at least two (02) years’ experience of fieldwork. Hands-on command of AutoCAD and MS Office will be preferred.
• 3. Accountant (PPS-6)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Qualification & Experience: MBA (Finance)/CMA/BBA/B.Com (Hons.) (16 years of education) (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC recognized University / Institution with three (03) years post-qualification relevant experience in private/public organizations.
• 4. Sub-Engineer (PPS-6)
• Number of Posts: 01
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Qualification & Experience: Three (03) years Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) (Civil) from a recognized institute/technical board and three (03) years’ post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
• 5. Attendant (PPS-2)
• Number of Posts: 02
• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• Qualification & Experience: Matric with one (01) year of experience. Local domicile holders will be preferred.
