Job Description
The Bank of Punjab (BOP), a leading institution with over 35 years of excellence and a vast network of 900+ online branches and ATMs across Pakistan, is seeking experienced, dedicated, and performance-driven professionals for the role of Manager Data Science. This full-time position is located in Lahore within the AI & Predictive Intelligence – Data Analytics & AI Division, part of the Digital Banking Group. BOP is looking to fill 2 vacancies with candidates demonstrating strong expertise in AI, machine learning, data analytics, and banking technology. Successful candidates will be responsible for developing and deploying AI/ML models, collaborating with stakeholders to leverage advanced analytics for business improvement, and ensuring model governance and compliance. The role offers a market-competitive remuneration package and is open to both male and female applicants up to 55 years of age. Key Responsibilities
- Developing, deploying, and utilizing Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based models.
- Identifying and procuring relevant data for AI/ML model development and advanced data analytics.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where advanced analytics and AI/ML can improve business performance and customer experience.
- Supporting customer segmentation and customer lifecycle management teams through AI/ML solutions.
- Establishing best practices for model development including: Feature engineering, Validation, Drift monitoring.
- Enforcing model governance standards including: Documentation, Bias testing, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized local or foreign university.
- Up to 7 years of banking or non-banking experience.
- Maximum age limit is 55 years as on the date of application.
