The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has officially opened recruitment for Commissioned Officers in its Medical Branch, under the 137 Combat Support Course (SPSSC).   • PMDC Registration Certificate

  • For Medical Branch (Specialists) – SPSSC:
  • Rank: Squadron Leader
  • Training Duration: 24 Weeks at PAFAA
  • Required Qualifications: Specialization recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) in one of Eye Specialist, Anesthetist, Radiologist, ENT Specialist, Psychiatrist, Neuro Surgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon. Accepted qualifications include FCPS, FRCS, MRCP, FRCR, MRCS, American Board Diplomas (relevant specialties).
  • For Medical Branch (GDMOs) – SPSSC:
  • Rank: Flight Lieutenant
  • Training Duration: 24 Weeks at PAFAA
  • Qualification: MBBS Degree (PMDC Recognized), Minimum 1st Division or Equivalent, One-year House Job completed from a PMDC-recognized institution. Preference given to candidates with relevant field experience after house job.
  • Ineligibility Conditions:
  • Rejected twice by ISSB
  • Dismissed or debarred from government service
  • Criminal conviction
  • Declared permanently medically unfit
  • Submitted forged or tampered documents
  • Left any armed forces training institution on disciplinary grounds
  • Medically unfit due to Hepatitis B or C
