Job Description

The University of Engineering and Technology Lahore is offering exciting opportunities for qualified and experienced individuals in its Department of Polymer and Process Engineering. These positions, Research Associate and Technical Support Staff, are part of the Polymer Chair on Sustainability and Circularity project. Selected candidates will enjoy attractive salary packages, annual performance-based increments, and contracts that are extendable based on satisfactory performance. There are a total of 2 vacancies open in Lahore, Pakistan. The initial contract duration for both roles is 1 year, with the possibility of extension up to 3 years. Key Responsibilities

  • Strong academic background in relevant engineering fields (Research Associate)
  • Knowledge related to polymer and process engineering (Research Associate)
  • Ability to work on sustainability and circularity research projects (Research Associate)
  • Expertise in operating and maintaining polymer processing equipment including: Extruder, Injection Molding Machines, Blow Molding Equipment, Blown Film Machines, Calendar Machines, and Other Polymer Processing Equipment (Technical Support Staff)

Requirements & Qualifications

  • For Research Associate (01 Post):
  • Undergraduate Degree in Polymer / Materials / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum CGPA 3.0 or 70% Marks in BS/BSc Engineering
  • For Technical Support Staff (01 Post):
  • Option 1: FSC or DAE (1st Division) in Chemical/Mechanical with Minimum 6 Years Industrial Experience in Polymer Processing Industry
  • Option 2: Matric (1st Division) with Minimum 8 Years Industrial Experience in Polymer Processing Industry
