Job Description

The Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries Department Punjab is inviting applications for various technical and support staff positions under the development project titled "GIS-Based Protection Regime and Establishment of Digital Communication Cell". These government job opportunities are available on a contract basis for the duration of the project. Vacancies include Animator, Assistant Director Geospatial Modeling, Drone Operator, GIS Assistant, Surveyor, Driver, Lab Attendant, and Mali. Candidates from across Punjab with qualifications ranging from Middle to Master's degrees are encouraged to apply. Requirements & Qualifications

  • Animator (PPS-8):
  • Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree (16 Years Education) in Fine Arts, Film & TV, Computer Science, or relevant discipline from HEC recognized university.
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience.
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Animate, After Effects, Maya.
  • Experience in 2D & 3D animations, motion graphics, visual effects, character design and storytelling.
  • Age Limit: 25-35 Years.
  • Assistant Director Geospatial Modeling (PPS-7):
  • 16 Years Education (Second Division) in Space Science, Remote Sensing & GIS, Geo-Informatics, GIS, or equivalent qualification from HEC recognized university.
  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience.
  • At least 1 year experience in GIS applications related to forestry or natural resources.
  • Age Limit: 23-30 Years.
  • Drone Operator (PPS-5):
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Second Division) from HEC recognized university.
  • Minimum 1 year post qualification experience.
  • Experience in drone flying, route mapping, capturing aerial imagery, camera settings, natural resource applications.
  • Skills in drone maintenance, equipment calibration, data processing.
  • Age Limit: 22-28 Years.
  • GIS Assistant (PPS-5):
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Second Division) from HEC recognized university in Space Sciences, GIS, RS & GIS, Geo-Informatics, Geography, Geomatics, or equivalent discipline.
  • Age Limit: 22-28 Years.
  • Surveyor (PPS-3):
  • Higher Secondary School Certificate (Second Division).
  • Diploma in Surveying from recognized institute.
  • Age Limit: 20-25 Years.
  • Driver (PPS-3):
  • Middle School Certificate.
  • Valid Light Transport Vehicle Driving License.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in light transport vehicle driving.
  • Age Limit: 25-35 Years.
  • Lab Attendant (PPS-1):
  • Literate candidate can apply.
  • Age Limit: 18-25 Years.
  • Mali (PPS-1):
  • Primary School Certificate.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in nursery or gardening work as Mali.
  • Age Limit: 18-25 Years.
  • General Requirements:
  • Domicile: Punjab Only.

The Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries Department Punjab is a government organization responsible for managing and protecting forest, wildlife, and fisheries resources in the Punjab province.
