Job Description

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), known as “The Nation’s Bank,” announced openings for Relationship Manager – SME (OG-II) positions under its Inclusive Development strategy. These contractual roles, spanning 3 years with potential for renewal at management discretion, are designed for motivated professionals aiming to grow the bank’s SME lending portfolio across numerous cities in Pakistan. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying and acquiring new SME clients, promoting NBP’s financing products (working capital, trade finance, and term loans), and managing existing client relationships to ensure portfolio retention and growth. This role requires strong analytical skills for assessing creditworthiness, preparing comprehensive credit proposals, and monitoring accounts for risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new SME clients to grow the Bank’s SME lending portfolio.,• Develop and execute a client acquisition strategy aligned with organizational goals.,• Promote the Bank’s financing products (working capital, trade finance, and term loans).,• Manage and enhance existing client relationships for portfolio retention and growth.,• Regularly review clients’ financial health and performance to identify risks and opportunities.,• Conduct periodic client visits and provide portfolio performance updates.,• Analyze financial statements and business models to assess creditworthiness.,• Structure and recommend appropriate financing solutions tailored to client needs.,• Prepare comprehensive credit proposals in compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.,• Ensure credit facilities stay within the Bank’s risk appetite.,• Monitor accounts for early warning signals and take proactive risk-mitigation measures.,• Maintain compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.,• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless client service.,• Achieve financial and non-financial targets (revenue, portfolio growth, client satisfaction).,• Contribute to the Bank’s overall strategy by meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).,• Perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Requirements & Qualifications
