Job Description

Requirements & Qualifications

• Interested candidates must visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply for the desired post online.
• After successful online application submission, an online deposit slip with a token number, project code, and candidate's personal information will be generated.
• Print the deposit slip and pay the non-refundable test fee via Easypaisa app/agent or any UBL Bank branch.
• Keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) with the bank’s stamp; do not share.
• Do not send documents/testimonials to the ETEA office after applying online.
• Copies of testimonials/documents will be required from candidates who qualify the screening test, as and when requested by the Appointing Authority for scrutiny.
• Online Application Form availability on www.etea.edu.pk starts on August 1st, 2026.
• The deadline for online application submission is August 20th, 2026.
• Candidates will be informed via SMS by ETEA to download and print Roll No. Slips from www.etea.edu.pk.
• Do not provide ported/converted mobile numbers.
• Test Date, Time, and Venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip; no separate call letter will be issued.
• Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test, with detailed scrutiny by the appointing authority later.
• If a candidate is found ineligible at any stage, they will be disqualified.
• All candidates must create a profile on ETEA’s website.
• After creating a profile and before applying/depositing fees, candidates must print an E-Sahulat token from ETEA's website and get their CNIC No. verified at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk).
• Without CNIC verification, candidates will not be able to apply for any post.
• Candidates qualifying the ETEA test will be screened for relevance to eligibility criteria.
• Interview call letters will be issued only to shortlisted candidates.
• Candidates should be eligible in all respects by the last date of application receipt.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
• Age relaxation will be admissible as per existing Government Rules.
• Government/Semi-Government employees should apply through proper channels.
• Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications and fees for each.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel/reject any application without assigning reason or follow Government rules strictly if service rules change.
• Errors/Omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification, and the number of vacancies can be increased/decreased.
• Providing misinformation or not fulfilling any written statement in the application form will lead to automatic exclusion from the recruitment process at any stage.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the Test/Interview.
• For foreign degrees, equivalency certificates from HEC must be provided.

• *1. Assistant Director Cyber Security (BPS-17)**
• Total Posts: 04
• Age Limit: 25 – 40 Years
• Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, or IT.
• Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles within large-scale systems.
• *2. Assistant Director – Systems (BPS-17)**
• Total Posts: 02
• Age Limit: 25 – 40 Years
• Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, VMware, or equivalent are preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration and enterprise platforms.
• *3. Assistant Director – Network/OSP Engineer (BPS-17)**
• Total Posts: 02
• Age Limit: 25 – 40 Years
• Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Certifications like CCNP, CCNA (Security), or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing enterprise-level network infrastructure.
• Experience in government, law enforcement, or critical infrastructure projects is a plus.
• *4. Assistant Director – Database (BPS-17)**
• Total Posts: 02
• Age Limit: 25 – 40 Years
• Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or IT.
• Certifications in database technologies (e.g., Oracle Certified, Microsoft SQL) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise-level database management.
• *5. Assistant Director – Software (BPS-17)**
• Total Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 25 – 40 Years
• Qualification & Experience:
• 04 Year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Relevant field from a UGC/HEC-recognized university or institution.
• 04 Years’ experience at a local or foreign organization of good repute in a similar role and position.
• *6. Sweeper (BPS-03)**
• Total Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 25 – 35 Years
• Qualification & Experience / Responsibilities:
• Clean the office.
• Sweep washroom/bathroom/kitchen.
• Clean the office premises.
• Remove and clean dust bins on a daily basis.
