Job Description

University of the Punjab is seeking dedicated and qualified Pakistani nationals for new career opportunities at its PU Pothohar Campus. These contract-based positions, advertised under Advertisement No. 6/2026, are for a Project Manager and an Accountant. The roles are initially for one year, with potential for extension based on satisfactory performance until the project's completion. The Project Manager position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 157,500/- per month, while the Accountant position offers Rs. 105,000/- per month. There are a total of two vacancies.   • Project Manager Eligibility Criteria:
  • 1st Class MS/M.Phil. (18 Years Education) Degree from an HEC-recognized university in Project Management with at least 03 years post-qualification experience in handling PSDP projects, preferably in the Higher Education Sector. OR
  • 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree (16 Years Education) from an HEC-recognized university in MBA/BBA/BS with at least 05 years post-qualification experience in handling PSDP projects, preferably in the Higher Education Sector.
  • Required Knowledge: PPRA Rules, Project Execution, PEC Procedures, Planning Commission Procedures, Government rules and procedures for development projects.
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 Years.
  • Accountant Eligibility Criteria:
  • 1st Class Master’s Degree (18 Years Education) in Accounting & Finance from an HEC-recognized university/institution. OR
  • 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree (16 Years Education) in Accounting & Finance from an HEC-recognized university/institution with 03 years post-qualification experience.
  • Required Knowledge: PPRA Rules, Government financial management procedures, PSDP project execution procedures, Government rules related to financial management.
  • Age Limit: Up to 40 Years.
  • Terms and Conditions:
  • These posts are purely on a fixed lump sum pay basis.
  • No claim for regularization shall be entertained.
  • Appointment will initially be for one year.
  • Contract may be extended on satisfactory performance till the completion of the project.
