Job Description

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, Pakistan, an agency of the Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications for the position of Content Developer (MP-II) on a contract basis. This is a unique opportunity for highly qualified and experienced professionals to contribute to public diplomacy and media management efforts. The role requires expertise in areas such as Public Diplomacy, Media Management, Communication, or Journalism. Candidates must hold a PhD with at least 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience. The initial contract will be for three years under the MP Scales Policy 2020, offering an attractive salary package and allowances, with the possibility of extension based on performance. The position is open for applications for 15 days from the advertisement publication date. Only one vacant position for Content Developer (MP-II) is available for this intake. The appointment will be made on an open merit basis.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification:
  • PhD in Public Diplomacy, Media Management, Communication, Journalism, or any other relevant subject, OR
  • Master’s Degree in Public Diplomacy, Media Management, Communication, Journalism, or any other relevant subject.
  • Professional Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the relevant field for PhD holders, OR
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience for Master’s Degree holders.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 62 years (age calculated on the closing date of application submission).
