Requirements & Qualifications

  • Candidates must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Graduation Category conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) with at least 40% marks, and possess the relevant certificate issued by STS.
  • Age of the applicants shall be calculated from the closing date of submission of application for the general screening test advertisement by the Services General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD).
  • For candidates who applied for the test prior to the promulgation of the Sindh Civil Servant (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules 2024 (Dated: 16th October 2024), Graduation (1st Phase): General Age Relaxation is Fifteen (15) Years, calculated with effect from the Closing Date Submission of Application i.e., 30-11-2021.
  • For candidates who applied for the test prior to the promulgation of the Sindh Civil Servant (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules 2024 (Dated: 16th October 2024), Graduation (2nd Phase): General Age Relaxation is Five (05) Years from the date of submission of application for test, calculated with effect from the Closing Date Submission of Application i.e., 12-05-2025.
  • Applicants already in Government Service should obtain an NOC from their Department prior to the submission of the application and bring the original copy of the NOC at the time of the interview.
  • Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  • No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview.

  • Having a speed of 120 w.p.m. in Shorthand and 35 w.p.m. in English typing on a Computer.
  • Having a Certificate in MS Office from an Institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).

  • Graduate at least in 2nd Division from a HEC recognized University with a Diploma in Computer Science / IT from any Institute recognized by SBTE / STEVTA.
