Job Description

The Directorate of Civil Defence Punjab is inviting applications for the position of Bomb Disposal Technician (BS-12) based in Lahore, Punjab. This is a contract-basis role with 34 vacancies available. Ideal candidates will have an Intermediate qualification along with specialized bomb disposal training and relevant field experience. Retired personnel from the Armed Forces with bomb disposal expertise are also strongly encouraged to apply. The age limit for applicants is between 21 and 45 years. Requirements & Qualifications

  • Intermediate qualification from a recognized board or equivalent.
  • Must possess one of the following additional qualifications:
  • Bomb Disposal Course from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum one year of relevant field experience.
  • Retired personnel from Armed Forces having qualified Bomb Disposal courses.
  • Bomb Disposal Course from Military College of Engineering Risalpur, PAF-105 Ammunition Depot Spalding Cantt, Naval Bomb Disposal Unit Karachi, or any other institution recognized by Armed Forces Pakistan.
  • Age limit: 21 to 45 years.
  • General age relaxation of 5 years is admissible according to Government policy.
  • Retired Armed Forces personnel will receive 10 years age relaxation as per Punjab Government policy.
