Job Description

The University of Punjab (UOP) has announced exciting job opportunities in the public sector for eligible Pakistani Nationals. These non-teaching positions are available on a daily wages/contingent basis for the Pothohar Campus (Gujar Khan), University of the Punjab, Lahore. Vacancies include roles such as Junior Clerk (Library), Driver (Bus, Van, Ambulance), Security Guard (Male and Lady), and Sweeper (Sanitary Worker). Educational qualifications range from illiterate to intermediate (F.A/F.Sc). The employment type is for a period of 89 days, as per the policy framework for work-charged employees in Punjab.   • Attach Documents: Attach attested copies of educational degrees/certificates/testimonials, CNIC copy, experience certificates (if applicable), and a recent passport-size photograph (1x1).
  • Postal Submission: Send the complete application package to: Office of the Registrar (Administration Branch-II, Admin Block, Room No. 33), University of the Punjab Quaid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore.
  • Submission Deadline: Hard copies must reach the designated office during working hours on or before August 31, 2026. The online portal closes at 4:00 PM on August 31, 2026.
  • Delivery Method: Send applications via registered post or courier service only. No applications will be received by hand, and no extra time will be provided for postal transit.
  • Eligibility & Qualifications:
  • Junior Clerk (Library): F.A / F.Sc. (2nd division) or equivalent, typing speed of at least 25 words per minute. Preference for library work experience.
  • Driver (Bus): Middle pass, preferably Matric, valid HTV + PSV driving license.
  • Driver (Van, Ambulance): Middle pass, preferably Matric, valid LTV + HTV driving license.
  • Security Guard (Male): Minimum Middle pass.
  • Lady Security Guard: Minimum Middle pass.
  • Sweeper (Sanitary Worker): Open to illiterate candidates. Preference for primary pass qualification.
  • Nationality / Eligibility: Pakistani Nationals.
  • Gender: Male & Female.
