Job Description

The Directorate General of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education (NFBE), Government of Punjab, has announced 1000 teaching vacancies for "Potential Elementary Teacher" positions under the Girls Education Program (GPE-STG). This initiative is part-time, contract-based, and offers a monthly remuneration of Rs. 20,000. These opportunities are available across 15 districts in Punjab, providing an excellent chance for graduates to contribute to education. Eligible candidates include male, female, and transgender individuals. The primary role involves registering and educating out-of-school children aged 10 to 16. The initial contract period is one year, with potential for extension based on performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Register a minimum of 20 Out-of-School Children (elementary level) aged between 10 to 16 years from your community
  • Establish and manage a learning center within the Union Council of permanent residence

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Age Limit: 20 to 55 years
  • Qualification: Minimum Graduation (14 Years Education) with at least 50% marks
  • Higher and professional qualifications will be preferred
  • Domicile: Punjab Province
  • CNIC: Valid CNIC is mandatory
  • Gender: Male, Female, and Transgender candidates can apply

  • Registration will not be completed without fulfilling the requirement of registering 20 Out-of-School Children
  • Appointments are on a part-time, contract, honorarium, and time-bound basis
  • Initial contract period is one year, extendable based on satisfactory performance
  • Teachers will be appointed within the Union Council where they permanently reside
  • Reserved quota: 60% for Female Candidates, 40% for Male Candidates
  • Selected teachers must arrange a suitable room for establishing the learning center
  • Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted
  • Applications submitted by hand or through courier/post will not be entertained
  • Application Fee: 300 PKR (via Easypaisa, advance payment)
