The General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi, specifically the General Staff Branch (E-in-C Branch), has announced numerous civilian career opportunities for eligible male and female candidates. Requirements & Qualifications

  • General age relaxation is already included in the maximum age limits advertised.
  • Upper age relaxation is admissible as per Federal Government Rules for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Recognized Tribes of Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Sindh (Rural).
  • Disabled Persons (where applicable) and Released/Retired Armed Forces personnel can claim age relaxation up to 15 years (or maximum age limit up to 45 years).

  • Stenotypist (BPS-14):

  • Educational & Other Qualifications: Intermediate (FA/FSc/I.Com), Minimum shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m. and typing speed of 40 w.p.m., Must be computer literate.
  • Upper Division Clerk – UDC (BPS-13):

  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years
  • Educational & Other Qualifications: Intermediate (FA/FSc), Typing speed of at least 25 w.p.m., Must be computer literate.

  • Photographer (BPS-13):

  • Educational & Other Qualifications: Matriculation, Minimum 5 years of practical experience in Still Photography, Practical experience in Video Photography/Videography, Knowledge of Studio Work, Ability to operate relevant digital equipment/cameras.
  • Copy Poster (BPS-13):

  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years
  • Educational & Other Qualifications: Intermediate (F.A / F.Sc) with Diploma/Certificate in Commercial Art / Graphic Art and 2 years of relevant experience. OR Practical experience working in a Printing Press.
  • Lower Division Clerk – LDC (BPS-11):
  • Number of Posts: 25
  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years
  • Educational & Other Qualifications: Matriculation, Typing speed of at least 30 w.p.m., Must be computer literate.
  • Note: Selected candidates must complete a 3-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) from NITB prior to completion of probation.
  • Draughtsman (BPS-11):
