Job Description

The Government College University, Lahore (GCUL), a historic and prestigious educational institution in Pakistan, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its sports department. This exciting recruitment drive aims to fill various coaching and gym staff positions on a temporary contract basis with fixed remuneration. If you possess a strong background in athletic coaching across disciplines such as Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Swimming, Weightlifting, or specific martial arts like WUSHU/Karate/JUD/Wrestling, this is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to the development of university athletes. The university is looking for local sports professionals who meet basic physical and educational requirements. Coaches for disciplines including Archer, Boxing, Chess, Fencing, Gymnastics, Hockey, Rowing, Shooting, Table Tennis, and Tug of War/Kabadi are also invited to apply. Additionally, positions for Female Sports Supervisor, Gym Trainer, and Swimming Life Guard are available. The contract duration is for a maximum of 6 months, or as determined by the university. Interested candidates must submit their applications by July 07, 2026. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- is required. Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and train university athletes in the respective sport or discipline.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the university’s sports department.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Matriculation.
  • Experience: Must possess at least five (5) years of verifiable practical experience in coaching the specific game or sport.

  • Pay the Rs. 500/- processing fee:
  • In-person at HBL, GCU Branch via a designated bank challan form.
  • Online transfer to HBL Account No. 2398-70001616-03.
  • Via Bank-Draft, Demand Draft, or Postal Order made out to “Vice Chancellor GCU Lahore”.
  • Compile the application pack: completed form, original bank challan/receipt/draft, attested copies of all testimonials and educational certificates, experience certificate(s) proving at least 5 years of coaching, Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), and an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Submit the complete document file in person or send via registered post/courier to: GC University, Lahore Registrar Office, Lahore.
  • Applications must reach the registrar’s office on or before July 07, 2026.
  • Incomplete applications, forms not printed on legal-size paper, or applications received after the due date will be rejected.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible for candidates attending the interview.
