Requirements & Qualifications

  • Visit the Open Testing Service (OTS) official website: www.ots.org.pk for online registration and submission of application forms.
  • The test fee will be charged to candidates at Rs: 80/- per applicant. To submit the application fee, log in to your banking app, select “1-Bill Payment”, enter your PSID, verify the details, and complete the payment.
  • Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of all educational documents, CNIC front & back, copy of domicile certificate, experience certificate (where required), PEC registration certificate (where required), recent photograph, and all relevant documents through the online application portal.
  • Applications submitted by hand or received after the due date will not be entertained.
  • After applying for post(s), applicants are advised to regularly check the OTS website (www.ots.org.pk) & applicant portal for important announcements (procedure for Roll No. Slip / Written Test Schedule / Result etc.) related to recruitment against stated posts.

  • All appointments shall be purely on a contract basis at a market-based lump sum package, non-pensionable, with no long-term benefits and shall not be converted into permanent positions at a later stage.
  • For positions mentioned at Sr. # 3-12 (Line Superintendent-I, Head Clerk / Assistant, Commercial Assistant, Line Superintendent-II, Upper Divisional Clerk / Senior Clerk, Lower Divisional Clerk / Junior Clerk, Meter Reader, Driver, Tracer, Bill Distributor), candidates having domicile from districts of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupur, Okara & Nankana Sahib shall be eligible to apply.
  • M/s Open Testing Service (OTS) will charge 50% of fee openly from applicant & rest of 50% shall be paid by LESCO, therefore, each applicant will pay Rs 80/- to the testing agency.
  • Only those candidates who have completed their degree are eligible to apply. Candidates to whom final result card has not been issued or result awaited shall not be considered.
  • Candidate’s degrees having Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) will be evaluated with HEC standard chart available on HEC website.
  • Candidates already serving in Government / Semi-Government Organization / Autonomous Bodies / SOEs should apply through proper channel. Advance copy of the application, however, may be forwarded without obtaining NOC. The candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview, if he fails to produce NOC from concerned department.
  • Serving candidates who are Government Servants and have completed 2 years continuous Government Service on the closing date of applications are advised to apply through proper channel. However, they should keep in mind that their services shall never be regularized in LESCO as per policy.
  • General age relaxation has already been included in the age mentioned above. No further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit except for candidates belonging to specified categories.
  • Specific Qualification and Age Requirements:
  • Assistant Manager / Junior Engineer (Electrical): B.Sc. / B.E degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with 1st Division from HEC recognized universities. Valid PEC registration. Age limit up to 33 years. (5 posts)
  • Assistant Manager (Customer Services): M.Sc. (Phy)/MA (Stat)/ MA (Math)/ MA (Eco) / M.Com / MBA / M.Sc (Computer Science) / B.Sc. Engineering (with valid PEC registration) from HEC recognized University/Institute. Age limit up to 33 years. (1 post)
  • Line Superintendent-I: Matric with 3-year diploma in Electrical Technology from Government Poly-Technical Institute in “B” Grade plus 3 years experience in a supervisory post in any Electrical organization. Age limit up to 30 years. (7 posts)
  • Head Clerk / Assistant: Graduation (Humanities, Science, Commerce, Computer) with C-Grade / 50% Marks along with 03 months Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB / TEVTA / Institutions affiliated with / recognized by Board of Technical Education / HEC. Age limit up to 30 years. (1 post)
  • Commercial Assistant: Minimum BA/B.Sc/BCS/B.Com with first division from any HEC recognized Institution + 3-months Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB/TEVTA/Institutions affiliated with / recognized by Board of Technical Education / HEC. Preference for 16 years Education in Commerce and Accounting or equivalent. Age limit up to 30 years. (15 posts)
  • Line Superintendent-II: Matric with 03 years diploma in Electrical / Electronic from Govt. Polytechnic Institute in Grade-B. Age limit up to 30 years. (7 posts)
  • Upper Divisional Clerk / Senior Clerk: B.A/B.Sc/Associate degree (02 years after Intermediate) at least 2nd Division. Certificate of at least 03-months MS Office from any recognized institute / organization. Age limit up to 30 years. (10 posts)
  • Lower Divisional Clerk / Junior Clerk: HSSC / Intermediate / I.Com with at least 2nd Division. Typing speed (40 WPM on PC). Certificate at least 03-months MS Office from any recognized institute / organization (TEVTA/PBTE/NITB). Age limit up to 30 years. (17 posts)
  • Meter Reader: HSSC (in Arts, Commerce or Science or equivalent) from a recognized Board. Age limit up to 30 years. (36 posts)
  • Driver: Matric with five year post-license experience of driving having valid license (LTV/HTV). Age limit 25 to 35 years. (18 posts)
  • Tracer: Matriculate (or equivalent) qualification with drawing as one of the subjects from a recognized board OR Matriculate with a post matric diploma in tracing from a recognized board. Age limit up to 30 years. (2 posts)
