Job Description
The Pakistan Army offers an exceptional opportunity to join the Armed Forces Nursing Service (AFNS) 2026. Successful applicants will undergo a 12-week training program at the Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute, Rawalpindi, before being commissioned. Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree Required: BS Nursing (4 Years)
- Age Limit: 18 to 28 years (as of 01 June 2026)
- Must be registered with Pakistan Nursing Council
- Only female candidates are eligible
- Marital Status: Married or Unmarried
- Nationality: Pakistani citizens (including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan)
- Minimum Height: 5 feet (152.4 cm)
- Weight: According to BMI standards
- Not eligible if medically unfit (including Hepatitis B or C)
- Not eligible if dismissed from any government service
- Not eligible if having a criminal record
- Not eligible if rejected twice by GHQ Selection Board
- Application Fee: Rs. 100, payable at National Bank of Pakistan (keep deposit slip)

- Matric Certificate (attested)
- FSC Pre-Medical Certificate
- BS Nursing Degree / Transcript
- CNIC or Form B
- Passport size photographs
- PNC Registration Certificate
- Registration Process:
- Online Registration: Fill application form to receive test date and roll number slip.
- Registration at Centers: Visit nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centers in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta; submit documents and receive test schedule.
- Selection Procedure:
- Initial Test: MCQs based on English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry.
- Medical Test: Conducted at Army Selection Centers.
- Interview and Final Selection: Conducted at centers including Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, based on overall performance.
