Job Description

Electric Power Company Limited has announced multiple contract-based vacancies for experienced and qualified professionals across Pakistan. These positions offer an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment while contributing to the country’s power sector reforms and regulatory framework. Applications are invited from talented male and female candidates for managerial and technical positions including Manager (Legal / Contracts), Manager (Planning & Forecasting), Manager (Contracts Management & Regulatory Affairs), Deputy Manager (Legal / Contracts), Deputy Manager (Finance), Deputy Manager (Demand Forecasting), Deputy Manager (Regulatory Affairs), Assistant Manager (Demand Forecasting), and Assistant Manager (Transmission Planning). All appointments will be made on a contract basis, renewable annually based on satisfactory performance. The hiring organization is the Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD). Requirements & Qualifications

  • **Manager (BPS-19):** Bachelor's Degree in Law or a Master's/BE/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Law, or Management Sciences. At least 12 years of relevant professional experience, including managerial or legal practice. Maximum age limit: 50 years.
  • **Deputy Manager (BPS-18):** Bachelor's Degree in Law, Chartered Accountancy (CA), ICMA, MBA, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Law, or Management Sciences. Experience requirements range from fresh CA/ICMA graduates to five years of relevant professional experience. Maximum age limit: 45 years.
  • **Assistant Manager (BPS-17):** BE, BSc Engineering, or BS degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. At least three years of relevant experience in demand forecasting or transmission planning. Maximum age limit: 35 years.
  • **General Requirements:**
  • Pakistani nationality.
  • Computer literacy is mandatory for all positions.
  • PEC Registration is compulsory for engineering degree holders.
  • Relevant educational qualifications from recognized institutions.
  • Required professional experience according to the advertised post.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills.
