Job Description
The Colombia Government Scholarship 2026 offers an exceptional fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue postgraduate Master's degree studies in Colombia. Funded by ICETEX, a Colombian state institution promoting higher education, this prestigious program aims to attract talented students from around the world to one of Latin America’s most vibrant and culturally rich countries. The scholarship covers a comprehensive range of expenses including full tuition fees, monthly living stipends, health and medical insurance, visa costs, and an installation allowance. Non-Spanish-speaking students also receive support to learn Spanish before commencing their academic journey. Successful applicants will study at recognized Colombian universities, benefiting from world-class education, multicultural exposure, and advanced research opportunities for a duration of up to 24 months (four academic semesters). Requirements & Qualifications
- International students from all countries can apply.
- Applicants must not be Colombian nationals.
- Candidates must not have lived in Colombia during the last six months before application.
- Applicants should not have any marital relationship in Colombia.
- Students must be under 50 years of age.
- Applicants must hold an undergraduate or professional degree.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 is required.
- Students can apply for up to three different study programs.
- IELTS is not mandatory for this scholarship.
- Applicants must not previously have been beneficiaries of the ICETEX Beca Colombia Program.
- Selected candidates must provide a Certificate of Migratory Movements after selection.
