Job Description

The Peoples Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Balochistan has announced a significant recruitment drive for July 2026, offering exceptional career opportunities for healthcare professionals, social workers, and support staff. These temporary positions are crucial for bolstering medical services in Basic Health Units (BHUs) across numerous districts in Balochistan, including Awaran, Hub, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Kalat, Surab, Mastung, Barkhan, Duki, Killa Saifullah, Kohlu, Loralai, Musakhail, Zhob, Sherani, and Upper Dera Bugti. PPHI Balochistan, registered under the Companies Act, 2017, is dedicated to enhancing primary healthcare services in rural communities. Eligible male and female candidates with relevant medical diplomas, degrees (including MBBS), or local health qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply online. The deadline for applications is August 17, 2026. Successful candidates will receive a salary, with additional benefits such as Risk Allowance & Pay for Performance (P4P) as per rules. Requirements & Qualifications

  • Online Submission: Applications must be submitted through the PPHI Balochistan career portal at https://jobs.pphib.org/
  • Deadline: The online form must be submitted no later than August 17, 2026.
  • No Alternative Modes: Applications submitted by hand, post, email, or any mode other than the online portal will not be accepted.
  • Shortlisting & Assessment: PPHI Balochistan will contact shortlisted candidates directly to appear in the written test or interview.
  • Selection & Waiting List: Offer letters will be issued to candidates who successfully clear all stages of the process. In case of non-joining of selected candidates, waitlisted candidates will be offered the positions in due course.
  • Contract Duration: All positions will be filled purely on a temporary basis for one year initially, extendable on an annual performance report.
  • Age Limits: Applicants must be between 18 and 43 years or 18 and 50 years of age (refer to specific ad constraints: first ad mentions 18-50 years; second ad mentions 18-43 years).
  • Domicile Preference: Preference will be given to candidates holding local/district domicile.
  • Selection Right: Only short-listed candidates will be called for the written test and interview.
  • Document Scrutiny: Candidature will be rejected immediately if any discrepancies or fake documents are found.
  • No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) is admissible for appearing in the test or interview.
  • Local Resident Preference: Applicants who are local residents residing near the respective Basic Health Units (BHUs) are highly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to eligible candidates belonging to the local area, subject to fulfillment of prescribed eligibility criteria.
  • Specific position requirements:
  • Medical Doctor (MO/LMO): MBBS Degree with a valid PMDC/PMC (or successor) registration certificate.
  • Medical Technician: Verified Medical Technician Diploma from a recognized / registered institute.
  • Psychologist / Psychosocial Case Worker: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in psychosocial support / case management. Female candidates only. Must be proficient in the local language with good communication and documentation skills. Knowledge of Psychological First Aid (PFA), referral pathways, and basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) will be preferred.
  • Female Social Mobilizer: Bachelor’s degree (14 years of education) in Social Sciences, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in community mobilization, outreach, or humanitarian / development projects. Female candidates only. Must be proficient in the local language and possess strong communication, interpersonal, and community engagement skills. Experience in conducting awareness sessions, community outreach, beneficiary mobilization, and basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) will be preferred.
  • WGFS Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field experience.
  • Female Medical Technician: Verified Female Medical Technician Diploma from a recognized / registered institute.
  • Dispenser: Dispenser Diploma from a recognized / registered institute.
  • Lady Health Visitor (LHV): Verified 2-Year LHV Diploma from a recognized / registered institute.
  • Community Midwife (CMW): Verified 2-Year Community Midwife Diploma from a recognized / registered institute.
  • Lab Technician / Lab Assistant: Matric with Diploma from Provincial Medical Faculty or equivalent. Relevant experience will be preferred.
  • Vaccinator: Matric (Science) with Vaccinator Certificate / 3 months vaccination training.
  • Dai: Minimum Primary education; literacy preferred. One-year Dai training from DHQ/THQ or certificate from Provincial Director MNCH.
  • Driver: Valid driving license with relevant experience (as per organization policy).
