Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory at a policy level
• Handle international energy transactions, preferably in the LNG/LPG sector
• Manage local and international arbitration cases, preferably in the petroleum sector
• Adhere to and apply knowledge of Pakistan’s petroleum legal framework, including laws, rules, policies, and amendments
• Work with contracts related to the energy sector

Requirements & Qualifications

• Master's or equivalent degree in Law from an HEC recognized university/institute/college
• Foreign qualification in Petroleum Laws, Policy, or Contracts will be preferred
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience (in-house, law firm, corporate group, or government/autonomous body)
• Strong experience in international energy transactions, preferably LNG/LPG sector
• In-depth knowledge of Pakistan’s petroleum legal framework (laws, rules, policies, amendments, and contracts)
• Experience in handling local and international arbitration cases (preferably petroleum sector)
• Valid license to plead cases in High Courts of Pakistan on behalf of the Petroleum Division
• Maximum age of 55 years
