Job Description
The Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals for exciting career opportunities within the engineering and municipal infrastructure sector. These roles are part of a major project titled “Identification/Establishment of 02 Nos Landfill Sites in Punjab,” overseen by the Local Government & Community Development Department, Government of Punjab. The project focuses on sustainable waste management systems, sanitary landfill operations, wastewater treatment, renewable energy integration, and climate change mitigation in Gujranwala and Faisalabad. PMDFC is inviting applications for two Technical Specialist positions: one in Solid Waste and another in Liquid Waste (Sewerage). - Technical Specialist (Solid Waste) – 01 Post (Lahore Based)
- Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in one of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Degree must be from an HEC-recognized institution.
- General Experience:
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in: Engineering projects, Infrastructure development, or Municipal services projects.
- Specific Experience (Minimum 15 Years):
- Demonstrated expertise in: Solid Waste Management Systems, Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs), Landfill design and operations, Leachate treatment systems, Landfill gas management, Waste-to-energy solutions, Resource recovery systems, Energy efficiency applications, Renewable energy technologies, Carbon credits and climate change mitigation, Environmental sustainability frameworks, Feasibility studies and project planning, Infrastructure development projects, Public sector project management, Stakeholder coordination.
- Preparation of: Technical reports, PC-I documents, Donor-funded project documentation.
- Technical Specialist – Liquid Waste (Sewerage) – 01 Post (Lahore Based)
- Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
