Job Description
Rescue 1122, part of the Emergency Services Department (ESD), Government of the Punjab, is actively recruiting for Emergency Officer (Medical) positions in June 2026. Requirements & Qualifications
- Requisite Qualification: MBBS degree having a valid registration from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) or Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
- Age Limit: 24–32 Years.
- Application Process: Applicants must apply online on the Central Testing Service (CTS) website (www.ctspak.com) or via the link available on the ESD website (www.rescue.gov.pk). Online applications must be submitted latest by 08-07-2026.
- Form Submission: After completing the online registration, candidates must print and send the physical APPLICATION FORMS by post to the Central Testing Service.
- Completeness: Only completely filled applications that fulfill the complete criteria shall be accepted.
- Medical Report Requirement: At the time of the interview, the candidate must submit an official medical report issued by a Government Teaching Hospital or DHQ Hospital. This report must explicitly cover their physical examination (height, weight, chest, eyesight, and physical deformities) along with laboratory tests for Hepatitis B & C, HIV, and RPR.
- Disqualifying Medical Conditions: Any person with vision less than 6/6 in each eye (without glasses), color blindness, obesity with a BMI of 30 or above, or who tests positive for Hepatitis B & C, HIV, and RPR shall be shortlisted out at any stage.
- Physical Preferences: Preference will be given to candidates with a height of more than 5.6″ (5 feet 6 inches). The minimum chest size for candidates must be 33″.
- Residency Preference: Local residents, as verified per their CNIC, will be given preference during selection.
- Quotas: A 15% quota for females and a 5% quota for minorities shall be strictly reserved. Shemales can also apply.
