Job Description

The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) has announced a significant recruitment drive for young, dedicated, and physically fit Pakistani citizens to join as Sepoy (General Duty) (BPS-05) and NCsE (Non-Combatant Enrolled) (BPS-01) in Karachi. These public sector positions are allocated on a merit and quota basis, open to candidates from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, FATA, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. A total of 179 Sepoy (General Duty) vacancies are available with a pay scale of 18160-950-46660, and 49 NCsE vacancies with a pay scale of 15620-490-30320, both including ration allowance and other government-approved benefits. Applicants must report directly to the Pakistan Coast Guards Record Centre Korangi 2-1/2, Karachi, for walk-in registration and tests between June 14 and July 15, 2026, arriving at 07:30 AM. Requirements & Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Sepoy (General Duty): Minimum Matric
  • NCsE (Non-Combatant Enrolled): Primary pass and proficiency/skill in their respective trade
  • Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years
  • Physical Condition: Must be physically fit
  • Minimum Height: 5 feet 6 inches
  • Minimum Chest Measurement: 34 inches with an expansion of 2 inches (34″–36″)
  • Registration Venue: Candidates must report directly to Pakistan Coast Guards Record Centre Korangi 2-1/2, Karachi.
  • Registration Dates & Timing: June 14 to July 15, 2026, arrive at 07:30 AM for initial registration and tests.
  • Required Documents (original and two attested sets of photocopies, plus 4 passport-size photographs):
  • Original Educational Certificates / Degrees / Mark Sheets
  • Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) issued by NADRA
  • Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)
  • 4 Passport-size photographs
  • Additional Technical or Experience Certificates (if applicable, e.g., Technical Course Diplomas, Computer Courses, Driving License)
  • Ineligibility Conditions:
  • Individuals dismissed or terminated from the Pakistan Coast Guards or any other government department on disciplinary grounds.
  • Individuals convicted by a court of law.
  • Individuals dismissed due to submitting fake or forged academic documents.
  • Candidates previously served in Armed Forces or Civil Armed Forces but discharged due to medical unfitness, misbehavior, or being absent without leave.
  • Discrepancies found between CNIC data and educational certificates (name, father’s name, date of birth).
