Requirements & Qualifications

• Application forms must be downloaded online from the official University website at https://gcu.edu.pk/jobs.php.
• Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit a separate application form with necessary documents, complete in all respects.
• Application Fee Details:
• For the posts of Professor and Associate Professor: Rs. 5000/- each (Non-refundable).
• For the posts of Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Computer Programmer: Rs. 3000/- each (Non-refundable).
• The processing fee must be submitted to the HBL GCU Branch through a challan form or online deposit in HBL A/C No. 2396-70001616-03 or Bank Draft / Demand Draft / Postal Order in favor of the “Vice Chancellor GCU Lahore”. The original bank challan/receipt/draft should be attached to the application form.
• The duly filled-in application form along with attested copies of all testimonials, experience certificates, CNIC, and CV should reach the Office of the Registrar, GC University Lahore during office hours.
• The last date for submission of the application is August 15, 2026.
• Eligibility/shortlisting of the candidates shall be made in accordance with the University Recruitment Policy 2021 available on the university’s portal.
• A 5% quota for minorities and a 3% quota will be observed for disabled persons.
• General age relaxation of maximum five (5) years for men and eight (8) years for women in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab rules.
• Incomplete applications (in any manner) or applications submitted without the required documents will not be entertained and will be considered ineligible.
• Candidates already in service of a Government / Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through the proper channel within the due date; otherwise, their application will not be entertained.
• Degrees/certificates/diplomas from foreign universities or institutions must be recognized or attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and the Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC).
• Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalent certificate issued by the HEC or IBCC along with the application form.
• The equivalence of foreign and local academic qualifications as laid down by HEC, IBCC, or other regulatory authorities shall be accepted only if the candidate submits an equivalence certificate from the respective authority before the closing date.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for the test/interview.
