Job Description

The Government of Punjab has announced new career opportunities through the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA). These positions are available for motivated, disciplined, and qualified candidates across Punjab. PERA is recruiting for multiple roles including Sergeant (BS-07), Deputy Manager (Internal Affairs), and Assistant Manager (Internal Affairs) on a contract basis.   • Only online applications will be accepted.
  • Incomplete applications will be rejected.
  • Candidates applying for Sergeant posts will receive a Challan Form and Identification Slip for Physical Test after successful verification of documents and payment submission.
  • Challan fee must be paid through PayZen, 1Bill Service, or PSID Payment System.
  • Paid challan can be accessed through the “Saved Jobs” section of Punjab Job Portal.
  • Government employees must apply through proper channel.
  • Last date for online application submission is: 20 July 2026.
  • No relaxation in age, education, or physical standards will be allowed, including for government servants.
  • Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment Rules relaxation is not applicable.
  • Digitally issued domicile certificates only will be accepted.

  • Selected candidates will receive conditional offer letters subject to verification of academic records, experience verification, NOC verification, and other credential checks.
  • Specific Requirements by Position:
  • Sergeant (BS-07):
  • Qualification: Intermediate from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 26 years.
  • Physical Standards for Male Candidates: BMI 27 or below, Height without shoes 173 cm, One-mile running qualification time 7 minutes, Chest Measurement: Non-expanded 32 inches, Expanded 34 inches or above (Minimum 2-inch expansion mandatory).
  • Physical Standards for Female Candidates: BMI 27 or below, Height without shoes 162 cm, One-mile running qualification time 11 minutes, Chest measurement: Not applicable.
  • Eyesight Requirement: 6/6 eyesight with glasses allowed. Color blindness is ineligible.
  • Domicile: All Punjab domiciles are eligible (Merit calculated on district basis).
  • Deputy Manager (Internal Affairs):
  • Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s/HSSC level education in any discipline from an HEC recognized institution or educational setup.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Armed Forces, Police, or any other law enforcement agency.
  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in premier intelligence organizations within the country.
  • Assistant Manager (Internal Affairs):
  • Qualification & Experience: HSSC level education in any discipline from any educational setup.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Armed Forces, Police, or any other law enforcement agency.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in premier intelligence organizations.
