Job Description

The Office of the Mines Labour Welfare Commissioner, Punjab, has announced an advertisement for the hiring of School/College Teacher Interns (STIs) for 2026. This initiative invites eligible male and female candidates to apply for temporary engagement as School Teacher Interns within various Mines Labour Welfare Schools and Colleges, operating under the MLWC STI Policy 2026. These intern positions offer valuable teaching experience in government-run educational institutions located across districts such as Mianwali, Sargodha, Chakwal, and Khushab. Successful candidates will receive monthly stipends ranging from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 55,000. A total of 42 posts are available, with approximately 23 designated for female candidates. This is a contractual opportunity for a maximum period of nine months (excluding summer vacations) or until a regular appointee joins, whichever is earlier. The roles are non-transferable. Requirements & Qualifications

  • Most Secondary School Teacher (SST) and Subject Specialist posts require: M.A / M.Sc / BS (Hons.) in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Physical Education Instructor posts require: Master’s Degree / BS in Health & Physical Education from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Primary School Teacher (PST) and Elementary School Teacher (EST) posts generally require: Minimum B.A / B.Sc from an HEC-recognized university (some posts accept intermediate with relevant qualifications).
  • Computer Instructor requires: M.A / M.Sc / BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Lady Instructor requires: Matriculation with diploma in sewing/embroidery and knitting work, or relevant experience.
  • Candidates must be between 21 and 45 years of age as of the closing date.

  • Fill the form carefully.
  • Attach attested copies of: CNIC, Domicile, Educational certificates / degrees, Experience certificates (if any), Two recent passport-size photographs.
  • Submit the complete application by hand to the Principal/Head of the relevant school/college during office hours (preferably 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on working days).
  • Only hard copies of the prescribed application form will be accepted. Applications via email, courier, WhatsApp, or incomplete forms will not be entertained.
  • Candidates applying for more than one post or institution must submit separate application forms.
  • Preference will be given to candidates possessing professional qualifications (B.Ed / M.Ed) and relevant teaching experience.
